Objectives
This position is responsible for the operational functioning of the Field Service department:
- Management of contract scope and deliverables
- Incident management
- Extension and Modernisation for existing customers
In doing so, he shall be able to ensure customer satisfaction, increase the renewal rate of existing service contracts, propose spare parts, propose and sell modernization projects to existing customers.
Make an impact
- Ensure maintenance/support contracts, system operations,
- Extension and modernization project and spare parts sales to meet and exceed given sales targets.
- Manage Field service team and ensure productivity levels are high.
- Maintain good relationship with installed base customers and to constantly explore further CS business opportunities with them.
- Evaluate and increase customer satisfaction level.
- Consolidate information from customers on product and service quality and failure.
- Adherence to quality process
- Following up on customer complaints and changes request (technical).
- Update sales forecast and business development progress in the system.
- Ensure monthly reports for customer is on track.
- Monitor customers' order forecast and purchase orders.
- Taking over of new projects from NB.
- Collaborate and share knowledge & experience with regional CS team.
- Ensure that Company’s professional image in the market is upheld at all times.
- Work effectively with multi-disciplinary capture team (process consulting, system design, bid management, project realization).
- Other tasks or assignment as assigned by the Management from time to time.
Bring to the team
- Bachelor degree in Electrical / Mechanical/ Controls / Mechatronics Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years of customer services/account management experience, with proven works track
- record. Prior work experience in automated material handling system is an added advantage.
- Experience of pursuing the sales of spare parts and/or support/ maintenance contract.
- Able to work independently with strong commercial, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with strong capability to interact and work in a cross-functional and multinational environment.
- Strong technical background and the ability to be fully conversant with the technologies in the industry.
- Good presentation and communication skills, both spoken and written English.
- Proactive with a strong customer and team focus.
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
