Senior Trade Finance | Up to $5000
- Salary: Up to $5000
- Duration: 6 months
- Working Location: Asia Square (Shenton / Downtown MRT)
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position are carrying out the day to-day processing for trade finance related activities which include L/C advising, confirmation, checking documents, handling discrepancies, bill discounting, L/C issuance, bank guarantee, etc. The roll also covers support and advisory function to business department, system improvements, and efficiency initiatives. You will liaise with banks and also HQ, overseas offices and affiliates.
Settlement Transaction Business
- Trade Finance Transaction (L/C advising, issuance, bill discounting, bank guarantee, checking documents, and handling discrepancies, etc.)
- Confirm the result of accounting process of trade settlement.
- Handling of bank charges.
- Support trade business from finance and risk management point of view.
- Periodical reporting to managements.
- Potential engagement in payment check/approval which is not limited to Trade Finance.
- Other finance related issue and administrative work.
Support Affiliates in their Finance Cunctions
- Liaise and provide advising on their finance activities.
- Reviewing affiliates’ finance process and advising on improvement including system coordination.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance or related field
- Few years of experiences in trade finance (L/C)
- Experiences in T/T payment preferably
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI preferably
- Possess good presentation and problem solving skills
- Possess excellent communication skills and good team player
- Self-motivated and positive work attitude with high integrity
