Job Description:

To prepare food preparation in the section of the kitchen assigned by the Head Chef, according to standard recipes and ensure the guests’ satisfaction is consistent with DOMO Standards

Requirements:

Operational:

1. To set up the working section for the various meal periods according to standard.

2. To prepare all food preparation require by the section in quality standards of DOMO.

3. To minimize waste of all food items during food preparation.

4. To assist with the preparation of food required by the head chef.

5. To store and produce food items according to hygiene standards.

6. To assist in maximizing employee morale and productivity.

7. To be aware of and abide by all food hygiene,regulations purporting to the preparation and service of fresh fish.

8. To work in any section of the kitchen when necessary or as requested by the Superior.

9. To become familiar with all sections of the kitchen to facilitate the flexible use of employees.

10. To ensure that operating and kitchen equipment is maintained to a good standard with minimum breakage.

11. To break-down work stations at the end of a meal period and store the food away properly.

12. To ensure kitchen and food preparation areas are totally clean when unattended.

Engineering

1. To ensure correct handling and basic maintenance is carried for all machinery and tools in the kitchen.

General

1. To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform.

2. To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.

3. To ensure a smooth is maintained at all times and good communication with all supervisors is maintained.

4. To comply with appropriate legislation.

5. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.

6. To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in outlet of all other departments.

7. To attend all meetings as required by themanagement.

8. To have a complete understanding of comply with company’s policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

9. To be completely conversant with the company’s employee handbook and at all times comply with the regulations.
