What the role is:This role is responsible for driving organisational effectiveness through strategic planning, communication and capability building initiatives, contributing to the building of a competent and resilient workforce that is aligned to IRAS' strategic direction and the external landscape.What you will be working on:Human Resource (Compensation Management)
  • Review salary schemes to attract, motivate and retain workforce
  • Design detailed, thorough and complete solutions, by analysing market data, industry trends and best practices, to enhance compensation and remuneration policies
  • Propose and set job grades and structures that aid IRAS in capacity building and divisional planning.
  • Establish and administer organisation-wide performance management processes that fairly reflect the relative performance of people
  • Applying digital/AI/data analytics to gain insights about work and its value, efficiently administer agile compensation
  • Manage both internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes in the implementation of remuneration strategies and policies.
Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Strategize and execute tactical plans of the strategic workforce plan.
  • Evaluate new practices in designing and orchestrating how the work gets done, measured, rewarded etc.
Strategic HR Systems
  • Identify, evaluate and effectively harness and implement potential technology and digital/AI/data analytics tools to improve HR processes and systems to achieve greater efficiency and synergy across teams
  • Consolidate and analyse statistics in support of the agency's decision making process
User Experience & Continuous Improvements
  • Support line departments to achieve their objectives in their transformation journey
  • Be the voice of the stakeholders and provide regular feedback/ ideas to improve user experience and ensure consistent value propositions across multiple user-groups and contact channels;
  • Identify opportunities and apply knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g. RPA, data analytics) or methodologies (e.g. BI & Design) in the form of projects/other interventions across branches/divisions to improve user experience or streamline processes;
  • Participate and contribute in key activities and milestones in the implementation of digital/AI/data analytics projects;
  • Plan continuous work improvement activities and performance improvement strategies.
What we are looking for:
  • Degree in Human Resource or a related discipline, with prior experience in Compensation Management
  • Possess a good understanding of compensation policies and trends in the industry
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, independent and a team player
  • Creative and willing to challenge status quo
