You will perform products marketing activities for approved products and commodities. You will support the development of marketing strategies and ensure the marketing activities are aligned with the business’ long and short term strategies. You will also assist in formulating business plans to maximize value through enhanced supply chain decision-making and proactively exploit market opportunities.
You should have good communication skills to deliver presentation and articulate rationale of positions. - Play an active role to proactively project Aramco's presence in the Asia region. This includes active marketing and business development in coordination with Headquarters.
- Maintain currency of the market as well as strong relationships with counterparties.
- Support the development of marketing strategy.
- Perform ad-hoc special projects and studies as required.
Business Development
- Research, identify and develop new opportunities in the Asia region, driving the right strategies as defined by Headquarter.
- Ensure all viable opportunities prioritized and implemented where justified.
- Support the development of strategy plans for business development through close liaison with Headquarters.
- Research, identify and review use of new market areas to drive profitability.
Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with customers in the Asia region.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and other business units to ensure professional cooperation is maintained to maximize overall corporate profits and synergy capture.
- Establish new business relationships / counterparty relationships.
Reporting
- Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
- Prepare materials for business plans, budgets, market reports, business cases as needed.
Qualifications / experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Economics.
- More than 5 years of commercial energy experience.
- Well-informed of the world product supply and demand fundamentals, market dynamics and arbitrage opportunities.
- Well connected with end-users and trading companies worldwide.
- Industry knowledge – supply/demand fundamentals of physical market, product grades and quality specs, refining systems, transportation, pipeline infrastructure and products carried, competitors, marine operations, third-party system parameters, standard terms and conditions of contracts, displays knowledge of the global energy business, refinery economics/drivers, understands the value of variations in specification, timing and volume.
- Commodities trading knowledge – market direction/call, trading strategies, trading fundamentals, global markets, arbitrage, market climate, keeps up-to-date with international events and geo-political climate.
- Business development knowledge/experience – Broad contacts, demonstrated ability to scan for and identify opportunities, ability to efficiently evaluate and prioritize opportunities, demonstrated ability to execute business deals, knowledge of business development processes, tools, etc.
