- Perform accurate and timely diagnosis of specimens, including biopsies and resections.

- Must possess a basic medical degree AND/OR a postgraduate medical qualification which is registrable with Singapore Medical Council (SMC) (
- Are required to produce documentary evidence of specialist training and specialist registration in the country of origin and from the relevant licensing body/organisation in the country where the specialty training was done
- Preferably should have working experience in the country of origin as an accredited and licensed medical specialist
- Must fulfil other criteria as stipulated by Singapore Medical Council for Conditional Medical Registration
- Must meet English language proficiency requirement of SMC if the medium of instruction for the basic medical qualification is not in English language
