What the role is:Grow an impactful social service sector that achieves our vision of dignified lives. This is done through engaging member organisations and enablers in the ecosystem to plan, develop and harness the capabilities and capacity of the social service agencies in meeting current and emerging/unmet needs in the sector.What you will be working on:Self-direct and drive Membership team's efforts in delivering these strategies:RelationshipsEngage and develop member social service organisations through a tiered approach to grow an impactful social service sector and vibrant membership base by:
  • Working with member organisations to grow relationships with the Board, Head of Agencies and key staff, so as to contribute to the strategic development of the organisations
  • Developing and deploying platforms to engage member organisations through one-to-one, one-to-few and one-to-many approaches
  • Partner social service agencies to assess, plan and co-create development plans to improve their organisational capacity.
ResourcesProvide strategic benefits that can optimise member organisations' resources and increase NCSS's value by:- Growing relationships with enablers to deepen partnerships and develop and execute strategies that develop the sector's capabilities, capacity and impact in areas such as leadership, human capital, organisational health, financing and innovation- Partnering public, private and people sectors to curate benefits that can help increase revenue or reduce operating costs of member organisations- Convene and organise platforms for the community, corporate and public sectors to dialogue and co-create plans to implement changes to address sector level issues and challenges.Any other duties as assignedWhat we are looking for:Personal Competencies:

Requirements
Experience:
- Prior experience in the sector as
employee or volunteer is beneficial
