JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Overview: The NOC and CLS Manager is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operational integrity of the submarine cable network and cable landing station, ensuring uninterrupted communication and data transmission.Key Responsibilities:Network Monitoring:
  • Monitor the submarine cable network and systems 24/7.
  • Detect and respond to anomalies, outages, and performance issues.
  • Analyze alarms and implement preventative measures.
Incident Management:
  • Identify and assess network and landing station incidents.

Performance Optimization:

JOB REQUIREMENTSQualifications and Skills:3-5 years of experience with a telecommunication service provider or a major transmission equipment vendor.Prior experience in Submarine Cable Landing Station, NOC environment and/or optical transmission is highly desirable.Graduate or Diploma in Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar qualifications are a plus.Strong understanding of submarine cable systems, networking principles, and telecommunications technologies.Good understanding and working knowledge of SDH, DWDM/submarine cable system operations, Ethernet technologies, and structured cabling are a plus.Familiarity with network and landing station monitoring tools, protocols, and technologies used in NOC and CLS environments.Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose, communicate, and resolve complex network and landing station issues efficiently.Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially during high-stress situations.Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and coordinate with external partners.Capacity to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment and handle shifting priorities.Meticulous in monitoring and documenting network and landing station events and actions.BUSINESS SEGMENTConnectivityPLATFORMOperating Division
