Assistant/Maintenance Engineer (Rotating and Static Equipment)

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenanceworks in accordance to the preventive maintenance program.
• Manage information and data of maintenance and inspection in the inventory and planning system R-MIC.
• Responsible and coordinate with project team and/or contractors in the big construction or modification work as mechanical engineer.
• Responsible and Coordinate with production team and/or contractors in the investigation of cause of equipment breakdown and propose remedial action.
• Carry out piping design work and manage the actual piping work with safety.
• Carry out small civil design work (e.g. Equipment foundation, Shelter, Loading bay, ACMV and etc.) and manage the actual civil work with safety.
• Coordinate with contractors onsite inspections and repair and maintain and jet cleaning.
• Document management (e.g. To make SOP, WI, RA and presentation slide, To manage drawings for construction, replacement and modification).
• Assist in the preparation of Shut down Maintenance (SDM) planning and execution.
• To take quotation and checking of machine parts and construction work.
• Manage spare parts and consumables inventory for replenishment of stocks.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience (Disassembling, assembling and overhaul of plant equipment and machinery (Such as Pumps, Compressor, Blower, Gear box, Agitator, Mechanical seal and Piping)
• Basic mechanical experience (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul work)
• Prepared to be on standby to respond to plant emergencies after office hours.
• An effective team player with excellent service attitude.
• Possess strong safety awareness.
