Senior/Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day production activities, including scheduling, workflows, capacity planning but not limited to cost rate, production variance, work-in-progress inventory and its' accuracy, quality yield, capacity and etc.
  • Ensure efficient production operations by supervising staff, providing guidance, and fostering optimal performance.
  • Improve & maintain quality standards through training, certification, and development of operators through On-the-Job training, skill certification, training of second liners, monitoring and reviewing production lines' quality standards, and working with related Departments for support and corrective action plans for quality improvement.
  • Influence organisational development and strategy by leading the team’s work activities to develop operational plans to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Min Diploma in Engineering/ Manufacturing Management/ Supply Chain Management or related discipline
  • Min 4 years working experience in a low volume, high mix manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in driving operational excellence through lean manufacturing techniques
  • Possess SAP or related ERP system
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels including management and staff personnel both internally and externally.
