- To assist senior manager in overseeing preventive & corrective maintenance scheduling & coordination work. Manage Maintenance Agent or Specialist Contractor day-to-day works for mechanical system such as Central Chilled Water Cooling System, Air Handling Unit, Fan Coil Unit, Standalone AC Units, Mech Ventilation Systems, Heat Recovery & Hot Water System, HPVF / CDS Mechanical System, Building Management System and etc.
- To assist senior manager to oversee the performance of outsourced maintenance service provider and specialist vendors to ensure good maintenance standards are maintained and planned PM schedules are met.
- Ensure prompt service recovery for any breakdown of equipment and systems to minimize disruption to hospital service operations.
- To assist senior manager to oversee and coordinate improvements projects to the hospital services and facilities as well as upgrading of systems and equipment components.
- To assist senior manager for improvement works to existing hospital facilities such as renovation and retrofitting, replacement of system infrastructure and improvement initiatives to existing specialized systems and hospital facilities
- To provide advisory and support to the maintenance team in addressing and rectifying specialized system failures and troubleshooting. Recommend system condemnation and replacements as necessary.
- To prepare technical specifications and drawings for system improvements and draft cost estimates and work schedule for project execution.
- To lead and guide engineering assistant on the day-to-day electrical work-related tasks to ensure the hospital operates smoothly.

- Perform any other duties assigned by HOD.
- 1-4 years of experience or Diploma with 5-9 years' mechanical system experience for Engineer position.
- At least 5 years of experience or Diploma with at least 10 years' mechanical system experience for Senior Engineer Position.
- Have prior experience with design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of mechanical systems & equipment will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in management of mechanical services and facilities operation as well as improvement projects will be an advantage.
- Prior working experience in healthcare setting will be an advantage.
- Conversant in reading and interpreting architectural and M&E schematic drawings.
- Conversant in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Ability to use 3D perspective drawing software such as BIM will be an added advantage;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and inter-personnel skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and function well in a team.
