Project Engineer
We are currently seeking a competent Project Engineer to join our dedicated team to perform the following tasks within a busy working environment:
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
2. Design and Development: Lead the design and development of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies.
3. Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
5. Communication: Liaise with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and team members, to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards, and that all quality assurance processes are followed.
7. Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
8. Reporting: Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, project schedules, and budget reports.
Requirements:
· Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
· Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales or project engineering role, preferably in a capital equipment industry
· Skills:
§ Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
§ Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
§ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
§ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
§ Proficient in project management tools and software.
§ Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.
