Key Responsibilities

  • Fiber Optic Termination & Testing: Perform splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Cat 5/Cat 6 Cable Work: Conduct onsite termination, and testing of structured cabling systems in compliance with industry standards.
  • Field Installations: Travel to various job sites to carry out installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure project completion.
  • Equipment Operation: Use specialized tools, such as fusion splicers, OTDRs, and network testers, to perform precise installations and diagnostics.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, test results, and materials used for each project.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure all work adheres to company, client, and industry standards for safety and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to deliver seamless services.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in operating fiber optic tools (e.g., cleavers, splicers) and cable testing equipment.
  • Strong understanding of structured cabling standards and best practices.
