
Installation Supervisor
Job Summary
Organize and supervise the performance of the Installation team to carry out installation and commissioning work of company products in accordance with company requirements. Coordinate with various internal departments and external subcontractors to ensure that work executed meets the quality standards and specifications required by customers to ensure smooth and timely completion of projects assigned. Perform all aspects of installation, testing and commissioning of equipment to ensure that work executed is in compliance with required quality standards and project specifications.
Job Decription
· Plan and execute timely and successful implementation of all projects assigned in a professional manner and ensure cost are within budgets, according to contract requirements, agreed completion times and the fulfilment of the project specifications.
· Ensure work executed by Production/Installation Departments as well as the work of subcontractors meet the required quality standards and liaise with QC Engineer for inspection of steel fabrication work carried out whenever required to ensure quality control.
· Maintain good working relationships with all parties at site such as customers, subcontractors, vendors, etc to ensure smooth progress of workflow.
· Execute all installation and commissioning works as assigned and feedback to immediate superior on any short-supply items and/or additional customers' requirements during follow up with subcontractors or at site meetings.
· Ensure steel fabrication work assigned is done according to the manufacturing drawings and meet in-house quality standards and scheduled completion dates.
· Check work executed by the Production department as well as the work of subcontractors meet the required quality standards.
· Manually record the man-hours and productivity to be captured against budget and submit to either immediate superior or Administration Coordinator, Technical for keying into SAP system to monitor productivity level and project profitability.
· Complete all necessary quality documentation for projects in accordance with the QMS to ensure compliance with quality standards.
· Attend inspection meeting and assist in the testing of installed equipment to ensure compliance with the local authority/board's requirements approval and acceptance.
· Maintain equipment in good working order and report on any abnormality to immediate superior.
· Ensure good 5S, always perform housekeeping in workplace.
· Conduct general training based on contract requirements in preparations for hand-over of commissioned equipment to customers.
· EHS - Monitor Implementation of EHS procedures and standards to achieve required safety standards in all internal activities. This Includes ensuring the facilities, consumable stock, raw materials, tools and PPE are kept in order at the Production/Installation workshops and In compliance with EHS requirements.
· QMS - Liaise with QC engineer to ensure that activities and procedures In Production/Installation workshops are Implemented and recorded in accordance as mentioned in our QMS.
· Any others duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualification & Experience
. Minimum Diploma Electrical, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or in other related fields, or equivalent years of working experience. Certified in crane operation as per local legal requirements.
· At least 5 years’ experience in installation and commissioning work in similar industry.
· A team player who is independent, self-confident and has a self-motivated personality.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
