Job Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and manage insolvency and restructuring engagements such as liquidation, receivership, judicial management, scheme of arrangement, special accountant, debt restructuring and bankruptcy work
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as clients, creditors, debtors, etc. in writing as well as business meetings
- Review financial position, conduct financial analysis and develop turnaround strategies for clients in financial distress
- Participate in business development and client relationship management
- Review and ensure completeness and quality of work and compliance of all statutory and/or regulatory requirements of the engagements
- Assist the Director in practice development matters and activities
- Coach, motivate and develop junior members within the team
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification
- Able to work independently and lead in a team, manage projects and meet project deadlines
- Candidates with at least 2 to 3 years of proven and relevant insolvency experience in PAC firms will be considered for the Senior position. Candidates with more than 3 years of relevant experience may be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
- Strong business acumen and logical thinking / analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
