The role involves deploying, implementing, and upgrading cybersecurity solutions while providing technical expertise to customers and internal teams. The role includes conducting product training, offering professional services, and supporting pre-sales and post-sales technical inquiries. The engineer will also troubleshoot network and security issues, ensure compliance with industry standards, and continuously enhance their expertise through certifications.
Ideal candidates should have hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying updated with evolving security threats. This role requires both independent execution and collaboration to drive customer success and strengthen the company’s cybersecurity offerings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deployment & Professional Services: Implement and upgrade cybersecurity solutions, including customer and project timeline management when required.
- Solution Design & Implementation: Analyze customer requirements and propose effective cybersecurity solutions or alternatives.
- Product Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams on cybersecurity products.
- Installation & Configuration: Independently execute installations and configurations by following product manuals and best practices.
- Continuous Learning & Certification: Obtain and maintain relevant cybersecurity certifications to stay updated with evolving technologies.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Develop expertise in cybersecurity technologies to assist in knowledge transfer and better support customers.
- Technical Support & Consultation: Provide technical assistance to sales and support teams, including product clarification, implementation guidance, tender compliance, and other ad-hoc technical matters.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including Firewalls, VPN, DLP, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, DNS, Email Security, Log Management, SIEM, Virtualization, Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps/DevSecOps, Privileged Access Management, and Endpoint Security.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting networking and system issues, such as routing, NAT, VLAN, Multicast, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, SNMP, Syslog, SMTP, TLS, and SSH.
- Passion for staying updated on cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
- Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Check Point CCSE/CCSM, Thales, CyberArk CDE, Trellix, ArcSight ESM/Logger, ITOM, SailPoint, CISSP, CREST, OSCP.
- Programming Skills (Advantageous): Experience with Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash scripting, or PowerShell.
