Job Description
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the company's global financial strategy to support business objectives and expansion plans.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in line with IFRS, GAAP, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Corporate Finance & Capital Management: Oversee capital allocation, treasury management, and funding strategies, including debt and equity financing.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration of M&A activities and joint ventures.
- Operational Efficiency & Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, financial controls, and operational improvements.
- Risk Management & Governance: Establish and maintain robust financial risk management frameworks to mitigate market, credit, and operational risks.
- Stakeholder & Investor Relations: Engage with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, regulators, and auditors, to build strong financial credibility.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a high-performing global finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Degree in Accountancy and/or CPA, CFA and ACCA qualifications. MBA from a top-tier university is highly desirable.
- At least 15-20 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5-10 years at the Group FD/ Regional CFO capacity
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and M&A transactions.
- Deep understanding of energy industry financial dynamics, including commodity pricing, hedging, and infrastructure investments.
- Proven track record in managing financial risk, treasury operations, and working capital in complex, global environments.
- Leadership & Strategic Acumen:
- Demonstrated success in leading large, geographically dispersed finance teams.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with C-suite executives and board members.
- Strong strategic mindset with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion.
- Attention to Detail & Integrity: High level of accuracy, analytical skills, and ethical integrity in financial decision-making.
- Global Exposure: Experience in managing financial operations across multiple regions, including emerging markets and regulatory environments.
