MISSION

  • Monitor and Optimize Sales & Operations processes. Main Guerlain contact APAC TR & Export & Supply Planning Guerlain HQ
  • Effectively cascades business strategy and translates into actionable work plans for team members to action upon
  • Key inventory point of contact for products availability, product assortment and P&L over Travel Retail & Export APAC
  • Facilitate the retail implementation over Export and the after-pandemic Travel Retail’s reborn (product pyramid, new business model)
  • Coordinate the TR HAINAN business within the TR APAC structure and build an independent key resource HC TR CHINA
  • Build Demand Forecasts: Basic & Novelties, Sellable and Merchandising.
  • Improve forecast accuracy by analyzing forecast error, recommending, and implementing appropriate action plan.
  • Challenges the status quo and optimizes functional processes, adopt innovative ideas to create better business outcomes.
  • Provide follow up and Business analysis reports.
  • Ability to anticipate Internal/External party’s needs across APAC, jointly drive for mutual successes.
  • Creates a continuous and active sharing / learning culture within the team. Developed team junior profiles into more senior (demand team development).

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Forecast Management / S&OP

  • Proactively collaborates with Sales, Marketing and Finance functions to ensure development and timely delivery of consensus forecast (basic & novelties), while making independent decisions (for basics)
  • Lead Monthly Forecast reviews with Commercial/Marketing teams, follow business trend and make operations decisions accordingly.
  • Understands the implications of various risks brought by the changes ahead, implement actions to manage those risks.
  • 18-month rolling forecast, aligned with Guerlain’s Budget, and proactively considering Brand P&L as well.
  • Lead TR and SEA S&OP, being additional key partner over APAC local market with north Asia (aka ASIA 3).
  • Support and challenge Commercial team to build Launches forecasts completing with an BQE analysis.
  • Drive POSM forecast to support business & match with financial targets.
  • Actively involved in budget plan construction (Budget, R1, R2) at franchise/line level.
  • Contribute to create and implement cost reduction action plans.

Assortment productivity / Lifecycle Management

  • Lead Catalogue rationalization (Long Tail approach) and monitor Assortment performance by door including ECOM platforms (SEA business development).
  • Manage discontinued product / EOL process for the region.
  • Limit P&L Impact by monitoring forecast landing on discontinued product vs sales performance and stock coverage.

Management

  • Manage and develop a team of 4 (1 Demand Business Analyst LM SEA-OC, 1 Demand Business Analyst for TR CHINA, 2 Customer service for TR APAC).
  • Have experience and demonstrated the ability to manage virtual and matrix teams with sustainable performance.
  • Optimize Talent, coach and creates a continuous active sharing / learning culture within the team.

PROFILE

  • +7-9Y relevant experience in supply chain management.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP Experience, Knowledge of Power BI will be a plus.
  • Customer focus in a multicultural environment.
  • Problem solving / Facilitator. Able to work under pressure & to manage multiple interlocutors.
  • Comfortable with figures and reporting with strong abilities to provide quick & easy to understand analysis.
  • Team spirit & good communication skills

Main KPI

  • Service Level (OTIF, OOS).
  • Stock Coverage – Average / Year at TR retailers and Lbeauty warehouses.
  • POSM Level Year End v BU/R1/R2.
  • Scrap / Obsolescence level on novelties and platform support function on basics.
  • Lost Turnover (CS customer view service) and Forecast Accuracy.
  • Assortment efficiency TO/SKU.
  • Launch consumption (FCST/Actual SI).
