
Senior Engineer (Project - Mechanical)
Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for Mechanical System (CDA, Vacuum, ACMV, MAU, Dry coil, PCW, Chiller, Cooling Tower, etc) for project.
- To prepare and raise RFQ, technical clarification with contractors or vendors, and to raise PR until follow up the final PO released to proceed project.
- Feasibilities Studies and Technical Review for Projects
- Project Specification Preparation
- Project Execution (require for weekend work and night shift)
- Regular walk down on site to ensure that site construction work is meeting quality standards as defined in terms of material, method etc. ·
- Resolve any technical matters or difficulties that arise during installation and testing. ·
- Ensure that the testing and commissioning of systems are done according to pre-defined standards.
- Attend daily meetings with contractors and subcontractors to receive updates on progress and follow up on action items ·
- Prepare OMM manual, As-Built drawings and training program for operation team.
- Project Buy-Off and ensure good documentation (hardcopy and softcopy) of facilities system.
2. Manufacturing Support
- Plan and execute Facilities POU Readiness for Equipment hookup.
- Support in Equipment hookup and mechanical system turn on.
- Work with Equipment, Process Engineering, Production, Industrial Engineering, EHS, etc. on operation issue/expansion projects/improvement projects/etc.
3. Operation Support
- Support operation on system issue resolving
- Support plant shutdown activity
Job Expectations:
1. Mechanical system projects support – Infrastructure/Clean room/Facilities System (per project basis):
a) On Schedule
b) Zero Un-planned Downtime
c) Zero Accident
d) EHS, quality, etc. related incidents – meet target
2. Manage Capex works and hookup within planned timeline and budget.

Education / Experience Requirements:
1. At least a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3 years of related work experience in Mechanical Engineering ·
3. Experience in high volume manufacturing of electronics components in an MNC or semi-conductor industry. ·
4. Direct working experience in wafer fab facilities will be added advantage. ·
5. Possess strong technical competencies in his field of study. ·
6. Able to work under pressure and with strong commitment at work. ·
Experience with software applications such as MS Power Point, Excel and Word
