- Digital Marketing
- Execute digital marketing activities, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and website updates.
- Implement digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Manage and maintain social media presence across various platforms.
- Undertake website analytics, tracking and reporting to optimise reach.
- Content Marketing
- Create engaging and informative content for various external channels (blog posts, articles, white papers, case studies, videos, infographics, etc.).
- Develop storytelling and thought leadership pieces that strengthen SMU I&E's presence and credibility in the innovation ecosystem.
- Assist in managing the content calendar and ensure timely publication of content.
- Repurpose content across different channels to maximize engagement and reach.
- Public Relations & Media Monitoring
- Track and analyze media coverage, industry trends, and competitor positioning to inform communication strategies.
- Assist in drafting press releases, op-eds, and media pitches to amplify key announcements and initiatives.
- Coordinate responses to media queries and support interviews for university representatives.
- Conduct media monitoring cum analytics to assess brand presence and engagement.
- Other duties as assigned.
- University degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrable experience with building effective marketing campaigns.
- Proficient in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
