Responsibilities
- Assign and coordinate frequencies based on the national frequency allocation plan, and prepare monthly statistics of frequency assignments.
- Register terrestrial frequency assignments with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
- Maintain and update the frequency database to ensure all information is accurate and current.
- Support the Secretariat in organizing and hosting multilateral meetings with neighboring countries, including managing frequency registrations and event logistics.
- Update public-facing documents to ensure they remain up-to-date.
- Assist in developing training programs for different teams, including working with course vendors and obtaining necessary approvals.
Requirements
- Singaporean only.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering or a related field would be advantageous.
- Good technical understanding of radio engineering principles, e.g. wireless system characteristics and performance, link budget, radio propagation models would be advantageous.
