Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain energy trading platforms, including functionalities for trade capture, pricing, scheduling, and reporting.
- Implement real-time trading systems and ensure seamless data flow between various components.
- Integrate trading platforms with third-party systems, market operators, and data providers (e.g., ISO/RTO platforms).
- Ensure compatibility with APIs and protocols for energy trading and compliance.
- Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability to support high transaction volumes in energy markets.
- Optimize trading algorithms and data processing for real-time analytics.
- Work closely with traders, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive trading data.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and market standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor, Master or PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical & Electronic Engineering with 5 years of experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, or C++.
- Strong experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data processing frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with messaging protocols (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of energy trading systems, market operations, and protocols (e.g., EPEX, ICE, ERCOT).
