Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Assist in the underwriting and processing of new and renewable Political and Credit Risk policies in line with our underwriting appetite, authority limits and business plan
- Work in conjunction with the global team to ensure efficient working practices are in place and adhered to as per established underwriting and compliance guidelines.
- Support the Asia Pacific’s underwriting team in Singapore through liaison with and participation at meetings with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders, policy documentations and endorsements.
- Assist management with building, running and monitoring exposure reports
- To represent and promote Chubb to brokers, internal stakeholders, and external clients.
- Servicing brokers and clients, monitoring business acquisition and retention as well as maximising cross-selling opportunities. Occasional travel within the region is expected.
Skills & Experience
- Keen interest in political and current affairs and familiarity with credit analysis and assessment, either having studied a related degree or insurance experience in this space.
- 1-3 years of insurance experience will be useful although not compulsory.
- Confident with effective communication and interpersonal skills both in verbal and written forms.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- Problem resolution and decision-making skills.
- Desire to continue to develop technical wording & broader business skills.
- Good Microsoft Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
- Language? Additional language skill would be a plus?
