Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the underwriting and processing of new and renewable Political and Credit Risk policies in line with our underwriting appetite, authority limits and business plan
  • Work in conjunction with the global team to ensure efficient working practices are in place and adhered to as per established underwriting and compliance guidelines.
  • Support the Asia Pacific’s underwriting team in Singapore through liaison with and participation at meetings with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders, policy documentations and endorsements.
  • Assist management with building, running and monitoring exposure reports
  • To represent and promote Chubb to brokers, internal stakeholders, and external clients.
  • Servicing brokers and clients, monitoring business acquisition and retention as well as maximising cross-selling opportunities. Occasional travel within the region is expected.

Skills & Experience

  • Keen interest in political and current affairs and familiarity with credit analysis and assessment, either having studied a related degree or insurance experience in this space.
  • 1-3 years of insurance experience will be useful although not compulsory.
  • Confident with effective communication and interpersonal skills both in verbal and written forms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Problem resolution and decision-making skills.
  • Desire to continue to develop technical wording & broader business skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills with advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
  • Language? Additional language skill would be a plus?
