About The Job
The research fellow will work closely with the Head of Gerontology Programme (Master and PhD) and work on the longitudual study throughout the reminiscence project in Singapore and in Asia. This role will focus on, programme evaluation, execution of data collection, data management, report writing, and micro-job arrangements for seniors involved in the programme.
What You Will Be Doing
- Coordinate the research development, execution, and data management of the reminiscence project.
- Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting for stakeholders and funders.
- Lead the research team to consolidate the research data, presentation and report
- Facilitate the arrangement and management of micro-jobs for seniors involved in the programme.
- Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Gerontology, Social Work, Public Health, Sociology, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in eldercare or community-based programmes.
- Strong understanding of the socio-economic landscape of ageing populations and reminiscence in aged care, and interest in reminiscence facilitation (priority).
- Proven experience in project management programme evaluation and report writing.
- Proficiency in research skills, budgeting, and reporting.
- Facilitate the arrangement and management of micro-jobs for seniors involved in the programme.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Positive, goal-oriented, and willing to travel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SPSS, NVIVO; experience with research tools is a plus.
