Reporting to the Director, Marketing lead in Asia for MTV Entertainment, your role is assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns and promotional activities to boost brand visibility, engagement and audience growth across various media platforms. You will develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, affiliate partners and brand partners.

Responsibilities

Social Media and Digital Marketing:

  • Work on search engine optimization and paid media campaigns to increase digital reach and engagement
  • Brief agency on social media campaigns and coordinate in-house social media needs to ensure seamless execution.

Campaign planning and execution:

  • Assist in creating and implementing marketing campaigns across platforms
  • Work with marketing lead to develop and execute strategies for content promotion and audience engagements
  • Execute marketing initiatives across various digital platforms to boost brand visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate with agencies and affiliate partners to develop campaign materials.
  • Coordinate assets and campaigns with all local teams across Asia to ensure consistency and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
  • Provide marketing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the department

Market Research and Performance Reporting

  • Conduct market research to understand emerging trends, audience preferences
  • Analyze competitor marketing strategies to ensure company stays competitive in the industry
  • Regularly track and report on performance of marketing campaigns and strategies

Collaboration with Cross Functional Teams:

  • Collaborate with external agencies and influencers to amplify marketing initiatives
  • Work with content, production and sales team to ensure alignment with overall business goals and brand’s performance metrics
  • Support in creating engaging social media posts, articles
  • Assists in designing and creating promotional assets including digital banners, posters when required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing & communications with 2 years of social, digital and/or media and content-related experience
  • A good understanding of contemporary trends in consumerism and youth. Passion for music would be a bonus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic and global environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills which will enable you to interact with a wide range of personalities and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, collaborative self-starter with who can multi-task and work under pressure, set priorities, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent research, writing and editing skills with a flair in creativity and design.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms, SEO tools).
