- Evaluate funding proposals, assess the adequacy of programme evaluation (PE) plans and provide independent assessment and recommendations to management • Coordinate and prepare budget proposals for annual budget exercises • Manage the allocation and disbursement of funds to HQ divisions and schools, including the monitoring of budget utilisation, ensuring strategic and effective utilisation of allocated budget in accordance with prevailing financial guidelines, preparation of financial reports and providing advice on budgetary and funding matters • Review, analyse, formulate and implement financial policies to streamline work processes, improve workflows and ensure compliance • Provide finance and administrative support/ guidance on budget activities and system access
- Relevant training and background in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent • Knowledge in system administration and/ or process automation would be preferred, and prior work experience in finance/ budgeting/ project evaluation would be an advantage • A resourceful and detail-oriented individual with good writing, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
