The Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) is seeking a senior analyst to provide price assessments and news analysis for the Asia LPG market. This position will be based at our headquarters in Singapore, and report to the Asia editorial director.
Your Role
Reporting into the Asia editorial Director, you will be an important member of the OPIS Asia Spots team, engaging with the Asia LPG industry for price discovery with the objective of producing price assessments, analytics and news for daily publication.

Your Role

- Partner engagement to develop LPG pricing in Asia.
- Use OPIS pricing methodology to publish daily LPG price assessments.
- Assist in OPIS LPG analysis by gathering information across multiple industry databases.
- Generate stories for news service and analytical content focusing on industry trends and related developments
- Represent OPIS at industry events. (Travel is expected)
Main Qualifications and Skills:
- Undergraduate degree, ideally with at least 3 to 5 years of working experience
- Networking skills for external engagement, collaboration skills for internal cross-regional engagement
- Good numerical and writing skills
- Work to deadlines and flexible hours due to publishing of reports
- Direct experience in the LPG industry would be helpful but not essential
- Ability to speak another Asian language or experience would be helpful but not essential
