  • Assist WSHO to maintain & update the SHMS

  • Carry out daily inspection to ensure all works are carried out in a safe manner through elimination of unsafe acts and unsafe conditions on site
  • Assist WSHO for EHS promotion and trainings to all workers & colleagues for greater awareness & culture.
  • Carry out inspection, examining machinery and equipment, level of noise, heat or harmful or hazardous substances in the workplace.
  • To assume the role of safety assessor in the Permit-to-work (PTW) system
  • Assist to conduct regular Toolbox meetings with emphasis on safety aspects
  • Ensure full compliance to all statutory safety requirements such as those pertaining to work platforms, gondolas, scaffolds and the maintenance and certification of all machinery and equipment on site
  • To maintain all safety documentations and records on site
  • Conduct In–house training
  • Assist in Investigation, handle, report and liaise with relevant parties for accidents or EHS non-compliance.
  • To lead safety workers to rectify all unsafe condition

Job Requirement:

  • Advance certificate in workplace safety and health (WSH Level B) / Diploma specialized in Environmental/ Health/ Safety or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in building construction industry
  • Assist WSHO to maintain & update the SHMS
