Quantity Surveyor (Construction/ 2-4 years exp/ West / AWS+VB)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Tender and Bidding Team by measuring quantities, preparing Bills of Quantities, reviewing contracts and drawings, interpreting specifications, requesting information or quotes, building tender costs, and compiling submission documents. Attend site briefings and meetings if needed.
• Oversee contract management for assigned projects, including procurement, administration of contracts and subcontracts, and analyzing price comparisons and cost summaries.
• Source and compare three quotations for project materials, liaise with suppliers, and monitor order schedules.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts, ensuring invoices are submitted on time.
• Assess subcontractor progress claims and handle payment responses and final payments.
• Address issues like Extension of Time, Prolongation Claims, and Loss and Expense Claims.
• Perform other quantity surveying duties as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma in quantity surveying, civil engineering, construction management, or related fields.
• Experience in Tender and Contract management.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Proficient in cost estimation software/tools and familiar with sourcing, purchasing, and billing.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
