
Snr Exec/Asst Mgr, Course Schedule & Resource Management (6-mth contract), SMUA

RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for SMU Academy (SMUA).
- Manage room bookings, venue coordination, and room utilization through the quarterly SMU Facility Book Exercise and ad-hoc requests, while securing external venues cost-effectively.
- Maintain dashboards to track Ops Cluster performance metrics, providing insights for continuous operational performance and improvement.
- Ensure documentation of operational SOPs are up-to-date and maintained to uphold operational standards and excellence.
- Supervise and mentor Student Assistants (Special Projects) by overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and assigning process improvement initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate and manage process improvement projects within Ops Cluster, ensuring timely progress and achievement of milestones.
- Assist with running Academy courses, with flexible compensation for any after-hours work, typically 2-4 times a year.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Degree or Diploma holder with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
- Resourceful and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Skilled in data analysis and report generation.
- Committed to process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with Training Management Systems (TMS), Microsoft Power BI, and Power Automate will be advantageous.
