As the Pharmaceutical Sales Manager, you will lead, manage and grow our sales team to capture new market opportunities, drive overall business growth and maximise the potential of our product portfolio. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, cultivating strong relationships with industry partners and ensuring that sales targets are achieved. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of growing healthcare brands, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales strategy and execution: Develop, execute and leverage effective growth strategies to meet or exceed company sales targets and business objectives
  • Market intelligence: Monitor and analyse market trends, industry activities and customer needs to maximise sales opportunities. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts and performance metrics to senior management
  • Team leadership: Recruit, lead and mentor a team of high-performing sales representatives by ensuring they are well-equipped with product knowledge and sales techniques while meeting their individual sales targets and fostering a high-achieving culture
  • Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and KOLs in hospitals, clinics and healthcare providers while ensuring exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly. Develop and maintain a robust CRM system for tracking customer interactions, sales opportunities and account progress
  • Stakeholder collaboration for business growth: Plan, organise and execute events and manage partnerships to drive business growth and enhance market positioning
  • Cross-functional teamwork for business growth: Collaborate with marketing, regulatory and product teams to ensure alignment of product messaging and campaigns

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Life Sciences or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in medical sales or related healthcare sales, with at least 2 years in management or leadership role
  • Highly motivated and proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales targets as well as business strategies, both locally and internationally
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products, health supplements and healthcare ecosystem
  • Experience in managing a small team and overseeing sales targets with the ability to prioritise strategically and ensure efficient allocation of resources
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) as well as interpersonal skills, capable of engaging different stakeholders with relevant value propositions to support and amplify brand initiatives
  • Resourceful and agile, with sharp business acumen to analyse market trends in order to identify and maximise opportunities in the exciting health and wellness space
  • Ability to travel as required
