Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the existing enterprise network infrastructure for Azure Cloud, IT, and OT environments on a global scale.
- Develop network architecture patterns to ensure highly secure and scalable connectivity across sites and Azure cloud.
- Build and mentor a global team of network engineers to deliver exceptional service.
- Operate various networking technologies, including:
- Global networking solutions such as SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, DNS, and Radius.
- Network components including routers, switches, wireless access points (WAP), and SSL VPN.
- Azure networking solutions, including Azure ExpressRoute, VPN, Firewalls, and Network Security Groups (NSG).
- Automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Security products including firewalls, IPS, and WAF.
- Provide hands-on L2/L3 support to diagnose and resolve complex network issues, including connectivity problems and performance bottlenecks.
- Lead and coordinate incident resolution across internal and vendor teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support network-related projects.
- Work with the security team to develop and enforce network and security policies.
- Participate in regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., CIS, NIST, GDPR).
- Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years in network operations with at least 4 years in enterprise network design, including Azure cloud experience.
- Preferred professional certifications in core data center networking (e.g., Cisco), Firewall (e.g., Fortinet), Cloud Provider (e.g., Azure), and Automation (e.g., Terraform).
- International experience is highly desirable.
- Passion for working in a growing medical technology organization.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud and data center network architectures, with hands-on experience in planning, designing, and implementing network architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills to identify potential issues in complex environments.
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Proven experience in leading team members in global settings.
- Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, and creative with excellent presentation, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
