Are you a passionate and service-driven professional ready to enhance guest experiences? Our client, a global leader in the financial sector, is looking for an enthusiastic Head Server to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Event Manager with detailed event proposals and email communications with hosts and clients
Oversee and manage operational schedules for Event Servers
Supervise event set-up, tear-down, and follow-up processes
Coordinate with building management, venue teams, logistics, and vendors
Build and nurture professional relationships with vendors and clients
Track and manage inventory, vendor lists, and associated costs
Source vendors and present quotations to clients based on event requirements
Conduct post-event evaluations alongside the Event Manager
Train new hires and provide daily supervision of Event Servers
Address guest and client inquiries promptly
Interact with guests and ensure food and beverage decorum
Key Requirements:
Min GCE "O" Levels
At least 3-5 years of experience in event planning
Food handling certification is an advantage
Skilled in managing complex projects, including logistics, vendors, budgets, and timelines
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
