1. Board Function:

The primary job responsibility is to ensure environmental, safety, and health compliance by ensuring the plant's operations align with regulatory requirements. They are responsible for implementing and maintaining ESH programs, policies, and procedures to minimise environmental impact, prevent accidents, and promote a safe and healthy work environment for employees.

2. Job Description / Responsibilities:

2.1. Ensure Plant Process Safety Updates and Manage (MHI) Safety Case

2.2. Oversee and manage the budget and expenditure for ESH.

2.3. Ensure the Company complies with Legal, regulatory, and other (stakeholders) requirements.

2.4. Manage ESH Related Work Procedure / SOP & ad hoc task as assigned.

2.5. Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders on ESH matters.

2.6. Manage and oversee all ESH training in the Company.

2.7. Responsible for staff development and training to ensure optimal competency.

3. Requirements:

3.1. Degree in ESH / Chemical Engineering or equivalent

3.2. Level C WSH competency certification.

3.3. Certified in confine space assessor / WAH Assessor.

3.4. Certified in Biz Safe level 2.

3.5. Min 5 years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years in a similar capacity

3.6. Vendor Management

3.7. ISO Management

3.8. Have experience liaising with government authorities.

3.9. Intermediate MS Office

3.10. People Management to manage the ESH team to achieve the Section’s KPIs constantly.

3.11. Knowledge of ISO 45000, SS651 & 14000

3.12. Ability to conduct risk assessment EAI assessment.

3.13. Ability to lead in accident investigation.

3.14. Has working knowledge of ACTA framework.

3.15. Planning and Organisational skills and plan and organise the assignment of tasks and deployment of resources.
