Semiconductor Fab Process Expert
Responsibilities:
· Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for semiconductor fabrication processes, including lithography, etching, deposition (CVD/PVD), CMP, diffusion, ion implantation, and metrology.
· Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance yield, throughput, and defect reduction.
· Drive advanced process control (APC) and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies for process optimization.
· Analyze process variation and defects using FDC (Fault Detection and Classification) and DOE (Design of Experiments) techniques.
· Work with AI/ML teams to implement predictive analytics and machine learning for defect prevention and process control.
· Support SECS/GEM and EDA integration for smart fab automation and real-time data monitoring.
· Collaborate with R&D, IT, and automation teams to implement Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or a related SME role.
Technical Expertise:
· Advanced knowledge of semiconductor physics, process modeling, and failure analysis.
· Experience with lithography (DUV/EUV), plasma etching, ALD/CVD/PVD, and wafer bonding.
· Understanding of AI/ML applications in process optimization and predictive maintenance.
· Hands-on experience with yield improvement, defect analysis, and root cause investigations.
