From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.Role Overview:Perform specific calibrations, NDT and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection of partsCorrect interpretation and understand the inspection operation sheets and work instructionOrganize, sort and prepare the parts for NDT inspectionLoad, unload and operate either the real-time XR, UT or auto FPI line effectivelyPerform either X-Ray Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, Magnetic Particles Inspection in accordance with the inspection operation sheetsEnsure the equipment operation readiness alwaysAssist the Engineer for any inspection evaluation and reportingUpkeep of process system and testing equipment to ensure its continuous operations in compliance to approved documentsPrepare and clean parts before and/or after inspection.Conduct audits in NDT area to ensure continuous system compliance to meet regulatory agencies requirementsPerform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasksThe Ideal Candidate:Prior experience in NDTRequired Qualifications:Minimum GCE ‘O’ level and/or with 5 years’ experience in Quality Inspection; orMinimum GCE ‘O’ level and/or with 2 years’ of NDT experience; orDiploma holders in Aircraft Maintenance/Aerospace Engineering; orPreferably CAAS Approval in NDT certificationAble to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge in NDT per NAS 410 standard in any of the following methods: NDT –PT/ NDT – X-Ray/ NDT – UT /NDT – ECI /NDT – MPIKnowledge in NDT per ASNT Level I, II or III in any of the following methods: NDT – X-Ray/ NDT – UT/ NDT – ECI/ NDT – MPIA team playerAdditional Information:At GE Aerospace, we are always searching for great talent.
