Job Responsibilities:

  • In charge of new/modified materials and process development program.
  • Implement/approve/monitoring of microbiological test procedures.
  • Perform microbiological test analysis test and internal calibration.
  • Supervise and manage daily testing operation by planning of work and manpower arrangement for optimization of efficiency. That will also include equipment troubleshooting, equipment failure handling and investigation.
  • Appointed as a trainer of identified subject matter expert. Train and assessment of training effectiveness for new Lab staff.
  • In charge of Lab equipment, consumables purchase, inventory and control expenditure.
  • Recommend the eradication of any unusual contamination which are isolated and identified.
  • Write or review validation protocols for processes in which microbiological control is of significance.
  • Investigate microbiological contamination of products (not pertaining to Singapore site).
  • Investigate microbiological contamination of products.
  • Verification of test results obtained (not pertaining to Singapore site).
  • Plan and execute test method validation and equipment qualification.
  • Approve testing records, calibration records and tagging status.
  • Verify tagging status and certificate of analysis for product release.
  • Approve sterilization cycle charts.
  • Support projects that involve microbiological testing.
  • R&D Laboratory cGMP compliance and documentation.
  • Ensure the maintenance and calibration status of the test and measuring equipment is in proper.
  • Support routine in-house test requests such as Chemical Extraction, Cytotoxicity test.
  • Review regularly for continuous improvement and safety-related initiatives.
  • Other duties as per assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Biomedical / Microbiology or in a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience is required.
  • Good communication and writing skill.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
