From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.Role Overview:Ensure quality of parts meet specification requirementsEnsure proper work clearance, correctness and completenessPrevent non-conforming parts from proceeding to the next work stationProvide support to Manufacturing Engineers and Quality System Engineers for evaluations, audits related activitiesCollect data, feedback on the quality of parts inspected to the Manufacturing Engineers and Quality System EngineersPerform visual & dimensional inspections, and set area management of the partsPerform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasksThe Ideal Candidate:QC experience in repair of aircraft engine componentsAbility to use precision measuring instrumentsRequired Qualifications:Diploma in Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing EngineeringAble to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English.Preferred Qualifications:Preferably with CAAS Air Legislation Paper L11 or L12 or C14Knowledge of flaws and defectsAbility to comprehend blue printComputer literacy in Microsoft OfficeA team playerAdditional Information:At GE Aerospace, we are always searching for great talent.
