Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analytical testing accurately and efficiently in accordance with established test methods.

  • Perform routine tasks according to SOP or Working Instructions, eg, stock checking.

  • Assist the production team in preparing the titration solvent and samples when necessary.

  • Uphold safety and quality standards in the laboratory environment, adhering to the ISO 13485 Standard or required guidelines.

  • Demonstrate knowledge and adaptability in recognizing and resolving deviations from standard procedures or guidelines.

  • Follow SOP or working instructions to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that occur, monitoring the progress when necessary.

  • Contribute to the team's objectives and operational efficiency through precise execution/completion of assigned tasks.

  • Establish and maintain the necessary report related to adhering to lab safety management as required.

  • Undertaken lab-related ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical or Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or other relevant field of study.

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory working experience.

  • Able to take proactive actions immediately and follow detailed instructions as required.

  • Able to work in the wet lab and under pressure to meet the deadline.

  • Able to basic maths calculations and computing skills.Strong understanding of laboratory safety practices and knowledge of industry regulations.

  • Experienced or trained by laboratory safety training (eg. bizsafe, hazardous chemical management safety course, chemical safety management ) will be preferred.

  • Excellent documentation and time-management skills.

  • Knowledgeable/Experienced in automation and protein-related handling.

  • Good communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and interact with the team.
