Job Responsibilities:

· Use mathematical knowledge and precision tools (e.g., micrometers, vernier callipers) to calculate dimensions and tolerances.

· Machine parts according to specifications using tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and shapers

· Set up CNC machines, including loading tools, fixtures, and workpieces to ensure accurate machining.

· Monitor machine performance, adjusting settings as needed to maintain precision and meet quality standards.

· Troubleshoot machine malfunctions by observing machine operation, making adjustments, or initiating repairs as necessary.

· Ensure proper lubrication and cooling of workpieces during the machining process.

· Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize production workflows, reduce cycle times, and improve overall machining efficiency.

· Ensure that all operations comply with safety regulations and company quality standards.

Requirements:

· Minimum of ITE/NITEC in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

· Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming languages.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Familiarity with various CNC machines and with a strong understanding of CNC machining processes and operations (e.g., CNC lathes, milling machines, etc.).

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.

· Ability to work rotating shifts.
