• Work with cross-functional groups, customers, and suppliers to define project requirements.

• Lead and manage project activities within the scope of contractual agreements.

• Maintain appropriate communication with customers and create brand loyalty through regular follow-ups.

• Provide time and cost analysis to Senior Management and key customer contacts for any project variances.

• Recognize when an issue has occurred, determine its impact on the project, and escalate the issue to the appropriate level for corrective action.

• Share knowledge of best practices with the operational team to meet the needs of the business.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Business Development Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the supply chain industry. With at least 5 years of experience in business development or account management, you understand the intricacies of this field. Your educational background supports your practical experience, and a PMP certification or membership would be advantageous. Your excellent communication and presentation skills enable you to engage with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external. You possess strong business acumen, contract negotiation skills, and capabilities in tender management and network optimization. Your ability to take initiative, drive change, and influence others is underpinned by a sound understanding of the commercial implications of proposed solutions, potential areas of risk, and methods to limit liabilities.

• At least 5 years of business development or account management experience in supply chain/ logistics/ warehousing industry.

• Bachelor's degree &/or above.

• PMP certification or membership is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong business acumen, contract negotiation skills, and capabilities in tender management and network optimization.

• Ability to take initiative to drive change and influence others with sound understanding of commercial implications of solutions proposed, potential areas of risk, and methods to limit liabilities.
