Asst Manager/Manager

Job Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure smooth and efficient inventory flow while minimizing delays and errors.
• Optimize space utilization and warehouse layout for efficiency.

2. Inventory Control & Management

• Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory tracking through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
• Implement best practices for inventory management to reduce wastage, shrinkage, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for stock replenishment and demand forecasting.

3. Team Supervision & Leadership

• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse assistants and supervisors.
• Set performance goals and monitor employee productivity, addressing any issues as needed.
• Ensure a safe and collaborative working environment by enforcing company policies and workplace ethics.

4. Logistics & Order Fulfillment

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Work closely with transport partners, suppliers, and customers to manage logistics and resolve shipping issues.
• Ensure on-time fulfillment of customer orders and maintain high service levels.

5. Health, Safety & Compliance

• Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, workplace safety standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order fulfillment rates.
• Use data and analytics to track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and drive decision-making.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic improvements.
• Liaise with vendors, transport companies, and clients to ensure smooth supply chain management.
• Handle escalations and resolve customer or supplier complaints effectively.
