Responsibilities

  • Identifies and diagnoses equipment failures, recurring breakdowns, and defects, conducting thorough root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive measures to enhance operational reliability
  • Assists in the development of comprehensive procedures, risk assessments, and HSE work method statements under the guidance of senior team members and the Project Manager, ensuring all requirements are met and compliance is maintained
  • Prepares detailed job lists, work schedules, and allocates manpower resources (including yard teams and contractors) while coordinating facilities to ensure seamless project execution in close collaboration with team members
  • Participates in project meetings with team members and stakeholders, recording project specifications, tracking work progress, and providing timely status updates
  • Works closely with the HSE department and subcontractors to ensure proper on-site coordination, collaborating with QA/QC teams, owners, and regulatory authorities to facilitate inspections and compliance reviews
  • Oversees the maintenance, calibration, and repair of equipment and machinery, both on-site and at the workshop, ensuring all assets are in optimal working condition and all servicing requirements are met on time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Marine Engineering or related Engineering disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience, preferably in the marine, offshore or renewable energy sectors
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Capable of boarding ships, entering confined spaces with limited visibility, and comfortably navigating stairs and ladders of varying heights, adhering to safety standards at all times
  • Highly skilled in planning, organizing, and managing tasks efficiently, with the ability to work independently while fostering strong relationships and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders
