Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all phases of corporate finance transactions, from deal origination, research, idea generation, pitch book preparation, analysis and modelling, transaction structuring through to execution, documentation and deal closing
  • Performing industry and company research as well as due diligence on transactions
  • Performing valuation analysis, trading comparable and carry out precedent transaction analysis
  • Conducting and coordinating due diligence work streams with independent third parties
  • Building detailed financial models for valuation and benchmarking purposes as well as financial performance measurement
  • Managing client relationships with portfolio of sponsored companies
  • Working with sponsored companies on corporate actions, mergers and acquisitions and fund-raising exercises
  • Reviewing corporate actions carried out by sponsored companies, including shareholder circulars, public announcements and press releases
  • Advising directors and management on listing obligations, compliance and corporate governance matters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree from a recognized university
  • SGX Registered Professional and MAS CMS qualified
  • Prior experience (5 years) in corporate finance or investment banking (debt / leveraged finance / structured credit background is particularly valued)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements
  • Self-motivated and deadline driven
  • Good analytical skills and proficient in financial modelling
  • Advanced proficiency with Bloomberg and Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure
  • Meticulous, strong team player with an inquisitive mind, excellent people skills, independent, reliable and highly adaptable to changes
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and an Asian language (e.g. Mandarin, Bahasa) to effectively liaise with stakeholders, clients, or partners who predominantly communicate in these languages
