As we continue to expand our presence in Singapore, we are looking for an experienced Compliance and AML Analyst to lead our Singapore business in ensuring regulatory compliance and managing financial crime risks.

We are growing our presence in Singapore and are looking for an experienced Compliance and AML Analyst to lead our efforts in Compliance and Financial Crime within the region. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and a strong, extensive background in the financial/fintech industry. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role with a growing organization in the digital asset space.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

Compliance Analyst

  • Assisting the Chief Compliance Officer in ensuring regulatory compliance framework is followed by the business.
  • Assist in applying for authorization with the MAS in Singapore.
  • Ability to draft requirements (policies and procedures) of payment service/crypto regulations (preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in order to gather requirements for applying for payment services licenses (payment services and crypto background preferred).
  • Assisting in liaising with regulators.
  • Assist with scanning for new regulatory developments and reporting them to the CCO.
  • Helping the business prepare for supervisory visits from multiple regulators by conducting audit reviews of systems, policies, and controls to ensure they are effective.
  • Undertake compliance monitoring and testing.
  • Assist other businesses in the group with compliance requirements.

AML Analyst

  • Assist the CCO/MLRO and provide advice and guidance to the business and senior management on compliance, risk and AML related matters.
  • Assist in maintaining policies, procedures, systems and controls including with respect to risk, AML/CTF, fraud and sanctions.
  • Assist in training and development of new team members
  • Undertake monitoring and surveillance through a risk-based monitoring program.
  • Undertake initial and ongoing KYC/CDD checks and screening.
  • Assist in preparing regulatory reports for the Board, management and applicable regulators.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Audit, HR, Finance, Operations, IT, etc.
  • Keep up to date on regulatory changes and ensure the business is aware of critical developments in the regulatory landscape.
  • Receive internal Suspicious Transaction Reports for assessment and external filing.
