The Head of Global Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing the company's global business development strategy. This includes identifying and evaluating new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams to successfully launch our products in new territories. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in international business development within the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global business development strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Identify, research, and prioritize potential new markets for expansion, conducting thorough market analysis and feasibility studies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and potential partners across the globe.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals for new market entry and distribution agreements.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of business development professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and legal, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing market growth.
  • Develop and manage the global business development budget.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities and performance to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, with a significant focus on international markets within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching products in new markets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of global business practices, cultural nuances, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively internationally.
