
Quantity surveyor
Tendering including taking off measurement, quotation inquiry and comparison, pricing & cost estimation.
• Responsible for project and materials calculations well as to maintain and update project budget.
• Preparation of progress claims and Supplier’s / Sub-contractor’s payment.
• Preparation of Final account and variation claims.
• To coordinate with all sub-contractors & supplier with regards to providing the necessary information, design, clarify discrepancies, etc. to implement and insure smooth progress of the project.
• Calling of quotations and negotiations with sub-contractors / suppliers on quotation prices. • Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Sub-contractors in relation to contractual issues, including attend site meetings.
• Reporting to the General Manager/Contract Manager and fill up the “Work Progress Record” which must be submitted every week.
Requirements:
Must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
At least 3 years’ experience in construction project
Good knowledge in M&E tendering
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
Able to work independently with min supervision
