Responsibilities

1. Channel Development:

  • Build and manage partnerships with local distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
  • Strengthen relationships with channel partners to ensure optimal coverage and performance.

2. Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear sales objectives, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.

3. Market Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product positioning and sales strategies.
  • Work with the marketing team to localize campaigns and promotional efforts for target markets.

4. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build long-term relationships with enterprise clients, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with product, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.
  • Provide feedback to R&D teams on local market needs and feature requirements.

6. Sales Target

  • This role is accountable for achieving both individual and team annual sales targets. Specific goals will be outlined by management during the onboarding process.

Qualifications

1. Experience:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the software industry, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing sales in office software or related sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Southeast Asian markets, particularly in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.

2. Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

3. Skills:

  • Strong understanding of software sales cycles, licensing models, and SaaS/PaaS solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve aggressive targets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

4. Language:

  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (preferred for communication with Chinese-speaking clients and partners).

5. Personality Traits:

  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing market dynamics.
  • Strong cross-cultural understanding and ability to work in diverse environments.
