Responsibilities
1. User Support
- Provide Onsite technical support for software, hardware, and network issues.
- Respond to IT support tickets, emails, and calls, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Assist users with Microsoft 365, email configurations, VPN access, and business applications.
- Maintain IT documentation, FAQs, and training materials for end-users.
2. System & Network Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.Manage and support Windows, Mac, and Linux devices in the workplace.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and other peripherals.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure optimal system performance.
3. IT Security & Compliance
- Ensure that all devices are equipped with antivirus, EDR, and endpoint protection.
- Assist in Active Directory management (creating, modifying, and deactivating accounts).
- Monitor security alerts and vulnerabilities and escalate critical issues.
- Support IT security policies related to ISO 27001 compliance.
4. Asset & Software Management
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, and software licensesAssist with software installations, updates, and patches.
- Monitor IT hardware performance and recommend upgrades when needed.
5. Vendor & Third-Party Coordination
- Work with external vendors and service providers for IT solutions and warranty claims.
- Coordinate hardware repairs, software licensing, and IT service agreements.
6. Project Support & IT Improvements
- Assist in IT infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and iOT system solution deployments.
- Support new technology rollouts and provide training for end-users.
- Identify areas for automation and process improvement in IT service delivery.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Familiarity with network protocols, cybersecurity practices, and cloud services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues efficiently.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools is a plus.
