The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable and Revenue Accounting functions across all entities within the Singapore operations. This role will ensure compliance with SOX, maintain strong internal controls, support statutory audits and address AR/Revenue queries from auditors. The role also includes ensuring GST compliance for output tax, supporting corporate income tax queries related to revenue, and leading system initiatives to enhance Workday, InvoiceNow and integration with other systems.Job Description
About the role:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis – Manage financial closing, ensure compliance with US GAAP & FRS, analyze variances, and review reconciliations.
- Month-End Closing – Support timely and accurate revenue and cost recognition, highlighting variances before closing.
- Accounts Receivable & Revenue – Oversee invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- DSO & Cash Flow – Track and manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) to optimize collection processes and cash flow.
- SOX Compliance & Internal Controls – Strengthen internal controls, ensure SOX compliance, and provide accounting guidance.
- Statutory Reporting & Audits – Prepare financial statements, liaise with auditors, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Tax Compliance – Ensure GST compliance, review computations, and support tax audits.
- Training & Support – Conduct training on accounting standards and revenue recognition policies.
- Business Partnering – Provide financial insights and collaborate with teams for strategic decision-making.
- Process Improvement – Lead system enhancements, identify automation opportunities, and support operational efficiency.
About you:
- Bachelor’s in Accountancy/Finance & Chartered Accountant certification.
- 8+ years in accounting & audit, including Big 4 and commercial experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP & Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI & financial reporting systems (Workday, Yardi, JD Edwards).
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and projections.
- Experience with internal/external audits and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing international subsidiaries.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Hands-on, adaptable, resilient, and effective in time management.
